The government of the First Marble City is made up of a mayor and five council members, all of whom are elected at-large, city-wide. The community's government officials serve four-year terms, with the council members being elected during staggered election years.

Council meetings are held at City Hall on the first Monday of each month, and the City Hall's operating hours are from 9:00 a. m. to 4:00 p. m. on weekdays.  Watch the Council Meeting Videos
